Private, personal yoga sessions are now available at Lotus Moon



Lauren Carty (E-RYT500, C-IYAT, YACEP) is available for one on one sessions for those that need a more personal approach to their yoga practice. And for those seeking an alternative to traditional physical therapy. Other instructors may also be available for private yoga sessions.



Lauren and Melody have recently earned their Masters of Science in Yoga Therapy at Maryland University of Integrative Health.  

 

Both are also certified Level 1 iRest Nidra instructors.



5 Reasons to try private yoga:

 

1) You LOVE yoga but the class schedule does not fit with your life commitments.

 

2) You wish you could have all your instructor's attention for the issues going on in your body and mind.

 

3) You have never done yoga before and you are intimidated to try it in front of others.

 

4) You want help setting up your own home practice, and you need a plan.

 

5) You aren't happy with yourself and you want to make friends with your body again.

 

 

 

Private yoga instruction can serve many purposes.  You may want a private class if you are new to yoga, wish to deepen your own practice, or if you have an injury or health concern that you would like to address.  You are free to ask questions, stop and try other options, and take your practice to new places.



For beginning students- If you are a new student, you may like to take a chance to get a feel for what a yoga class is like.  Private yoga gives the teacher the chance to focus on you and make sure you are getting off on the right foot.  It will also help prepare you for group classes.

 
For experienced students- Your teacher can take you more deeply into postures and work on personal goals.  You can focus on what interests you most and look at postural alignment and modifications.  You can also focus on other interests of yoga such as history, philosophy, meditation, and breathing practices. 

 
For students with special conditions- When you have an injury or other health concern, yoga can help you with self-healing.  You can even practice restorative yoga, or any other form of yoga that you would like to try. 

 
At Lotus Moon, we will ask you to fill out an intake form so that we can get to know your needs and what you would like to focus on.  Please stop in or contact us and we can mail you a form if that is easier.  When you are ready to set up a time to meet, we will look over your intake form and set a plan into action for your private session.



The cost of a private yoga session, for up to two people at one time–

Please keep in mind that it is not quite as personal with two students as opposed to one.
 
One hour of practice is 60.00  (This cost also covers the intake meeting and class set up.)



Purchase 3 sessions for one fee of 150.00.  Must be paid for when enrolling.
